Poornima, the popular actress of Dhakai cinema, played the role of Akbar's wife in the song 'Tomar Haat Pakhar Batasa'. This actress mourned the death of that co-artist.

Akbar became a musician through Hanif Sanket. He sang the song 'Ekdin Pakhi Ude' by Kishore Kumar. After this, the music video of Akbar's first original song 'Tomer Haat Pakhhar Bata' was made.
He died in the ICU of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Medical University Hospital in the capital on Sunday (November 13) afternoon. This was confirmed by singer Akbar's wife Kaniz Fatema.
On the news of Akbar's death, Punirma said, "It is very sad to hear the news of his death. He died suffering a lot. May his soul rest in peace."
Recalling the experience of working with Akbar on a single music video, Poornirma said, "In terms of popularity, it surpassed even Akbar's first song released on Ettadi. Most importantly, it was his own original song. I also got a lot of love from people for the song.
Punirma also said, 'He was very nervous while doing the music video. I am fanning him, feeding him. There were also some hand-holding scenes. He was so nervous. Do or do not sit next to sit! Many others were in doubt, he did so well that it was not understood that this was his first such act.
Akbar drove a rickshaw in Jessore before becoming known as a singer. He was born in Paikgacha, Khulna. But grew up in Jessore.
