'Hunt' is an action film based on espionage. There have been many spy action films in South Korea, North Korea and Japan. Where is the "hunt" different? Is it average like so many other films, or is Lee Jong-jae able to make his mark in his directorial debut?

Lee Jong-jae went through a difficult journey of almost five years to make his first movie. He announced the first direction in 2017, then the name of the movie was 'Namsaan'. The work of the film was canceled due to various reasons before the start of shooting. For the next four years he worked on the screenplay of the film. Finally, the shooting started on May 8 last year and ended on November 13 that year.
"Hunt" can be said to be Lee Jong-jae. He played an important role as the director, one of the screenwriters and co-producers of the film.
The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 19 this year, and was released in South Korea on August 10. Even before its release in Korea, there was a lot of interest in the film's international release. However, the director decided to make several edits in 'Hunt' before its international release.
